Woohooo!! 50 days down and I'm headed to the beach...there's no stopping me now!! i think i finally got it into my head that a cigarette is not going to help or make anything better. This quit feels very different from the others, I feel more positive and I actually love being smokefree today. I went through the grief of losing my 'friend' the cig and alot of depressed days without a smoke...For me that was half the battle. My Dr. did give me meds for the depression which has helped alot. reading all the posts and knowing i am not alone in this battle has helped too. I am so happy not to have to be 'chained' to a cig and am enjoying my freedom. Thank you to everyone here at SSC for helping me get to this point in my quit.
