I am glad that you are feel better in your self and you will come back stronger then you was before. Me I am doing ok and I am planning my diet. I am not going on this diet to loose weight. I am 5.8 feet and I am 8 and half stone. I am going on this diet because this diet will help not to feel so ill when I do quit smoking.

Ladybugg . . . you were right. :-) I phoned my mother back and explained that I had quit smoking. She was elated!! All is forgiven. :-) I'm glad what I'm feeling is considered "normal" in this situation. It certainly is uncomfortable, though. I just cannot focus on a thing. I always smoked as I worked, and now I seem completely lost. But I know better days are ahead up there somewhere!!! Just wanted to let you know I made it completely through Day 1. Can't wait to get Week 1 out of the way! Hope you're doing well, Lbugg! Lbugg . . . thanks so much for checking on me! :-) :-) I'm hanging in there. Seems the less I think about it, the better I feel. I've been trying to stay extremely busy . . . and watch TONS of TV. My cravings hit hardest when I'm on my computer in my office. I have never smoked anywhere else in the house because of my son. I'm not getting a whole lot of work done, obviously. lol Still, I'm hanging on and hoping things will get better. Honestly, I feel a little bit better (fingers crossed) today. Thanks, Lbugg!! Everyone . . . I'm going at it again tomorrow!!! May 4th. Four is my lucky number, and my son's 17th birthday is June 4th. I will be smoke-free 30 days for his birthday. What a gift to him, right? :-) I lost a small battle today, but I haven't lost the War. I think it may be like having a very bad day in school but knowing you will still graduate. ;-) I fell back on coffee, which was a HUGE mistake. This is a powerful trigger for me. I just didn't realize quite HOW powerful it could be! I don't drink coffee without cigarettes, so I know now that I can't drink coffee at all (at least until I know I'm on the uphill side of this). I'm feeling much better now. I'm more determined, and I'm stronger for what I learned about myself today. Thanks for all of the support!!! Kendall

BluePanda . . . thanks for your message. I'm BACK in the fight!! :-) :-) I actually feel much better about it now! I made it through 4 hours this morning, and I discovered a critical trigger (which I will now avoid). Feeling good here. Kendall

I am an "army," Glory! Ready to do battle again tomorrow . . . stronger, meaner, and more determined than ever. Maybe I needed this small defeat. Anger kicks me into gear. I've got to USE that!! Thanks for your support, Glory! Let me know how you're doing?! Kendall

Yes, Shevie. Caffeine. Apparently, I have a dual addiction. Thanks so much for your supportive message. I'm READY now. I'm, if anything, more determined than I was yesterday. I'm angry at the cigarettes!!! I will kick some you know what tomorrow! :-) I will hang around here in the morning. This morning I had to get my dog to the vet. Found out she is in the beginning stages of kidney failure. Well, that news certainly didn't help. Still, I'm doing this for her, as well as for my son. You know, I thought about this . . . Lilly (my dog) refuses to come into my office area with me because I smoke. WHAT HAVE I DONE?? Alienated those I love . . . that's what. Look out tomorrow! And I will be on here ALL morning for support to make it through. We can celebrate on Friday with lots of water. hahaha Thanks again, Shevie! Kendall
