Hello all, I haven't been on here in a while... sometimes it just feels easier not to be because I don't think about smoking as much... but I logged on today mostly because I was curious at how long it has actually been since I quit... 103 days! Wow. That is amazing. I can't believe I made it through the Holidays without smoking... Usually, when i'm home for Christmas, that's my bonding time with my dad... smoking on the porch outside... but this year it was me talking and him smoking... My boyfriend of one year whom I love and adore are in the process of a breakup, so the last few days have been really hard... but I keep thinking to myself that going back isn't going to help... and it's not going to make all of my worries and sadness go away... :( So, I just wanted to post... and tell anyone who's just started their quit to hang on... Every day DOES get better... Yes, I still crave, and Yes, I've been tempted to buy some... but I don't and I won't... because I'm doing this for me... not for him or anyone else... Much love to you all, and I'm hanging out on the beach... even if I am just in my tube with a strawberry margarita all alone... N.O.P.E. Nickies... ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 103 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,760 Amount Saved: $360.5 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 8 Mins: 54 Seconds: 13

That 'WOW, I feel so great' would make a great song title. Wait a minute...did James Brown record 'Wow, I feel good!' Remember his words and his crazy antics when he sang that. Makes me want to get up and dance also. So, keep the faith...there is life after boyfriend. I would rather be smoke-free than in love anyway. When we are smoke friend opportunities open up that never existed before for us. You maintain...it is so worth it.
