I just give up on life being so difficult when everyone out there is making it look so easy.
This has ruined my relationship with my boyfriend (we are almost on the point of break up) just because too much has happened in such a small time frame. I want to just get back to not over thinking EVERYTHING, and to wanting to be around people and enjoy life as much as I used to.
Plus, no more heart palpitations and fast breathing. Trying to breathe normally is my trickiest goal so far.
Wow, it is clear you are fighting hard at this. You have had a lot on your plate, your courage in facing all this head on is inspiring!
I encourage you to dive right into the program. Talk to your psychologist about what you are doing here also. I have no doubt with your mindset and all the resources you are accessing you will have success within a relatively short period of time. You have a lot to look forward to. What are you most looking forward to about getting well?
Don't know exactly how this works but I assume it's just a way for us to introduce ourselves and feel that there are people out there feeling the same way.
So I'm 20 years old and I'm a saxophonist currently studying music at University. I got really injured about 9 months ago and couldn't perform or practice, which led me to developing severe anxiety. It later caused anorexia (which i'm almost fully recovered yay) but now some body dysmphorphic disorders and depression. But, I guess once you have one of those mental illnesses you can feel how many others seem to lead to one another. So I've been trying everything in my power to get better, seeing a psychologist, went on medication for a bit (but now off it), positive books and thinking (well trying haha) and wanting to get my life back together. It's ruined too much of my health, my relationships and my life, so I'm fighting to get better :) If anyone has had some positive experiences with this website after using it I'd love to know.
