Walking

10 years ago 0 223 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I take a 45-minute walk every evening.

Put my earphones on, crank up my music, and walk. Rain or shine.

It's therapeutic, it's alone time, it relaxes me, lets me concentrate on the music which is a great pleasure for me. It gives me some exercise - the only exercise I take.

Sometimes, if I have something that needs clear thought, it allows me to do that without distraction.

Or I dream or remember.

Did you know that walking has many positive effects on the mind and body?

It can be therapeutic
It can increase metabolism
It can clear your mind
It can relax you

Choose your own strategy!  What do you want walking to do for you?

Is it a coping mechanism?
Is it an relaxation technique?
Is it part of your exercise routine?

What does walking do for you?
