Traffic :(

My commute used to be the time when the negative self-talk began, particularly the commute home after a day at the office.  I've added some music that I enjoyed in my youth and now the commute is my time to unwind and relax.  If it takes a little longer to get home, or to work, . . . . well, I get to listen to one more song.

Are often caught in traffic? On commutes that are long? Are you running lots of errands?

One great way to encourage positive thoughts is to bring along some cut-up vegetables or small, portioned amounts of healthy snacks, to keep your mouth occupied and keep you focused.  Bring along your favorite CD, and make a stop that involves doing something nice for you.

It doesn’t have to be a negative experience and members can help you get through it, by sharing their experiences.
