Welcome B-MB,

It sounds like you have come to the right place. This program will help you to reach your goals. Make a schedule for yourself regarding when you would like to work on the program and for who long. Normally it takes about an hour to read each session and then about a week to focus on the homework. Be consistent, do your homework and be sure to reward yourself after each session and each goal you reach.

When it comes to your medication be sure to consult your doctor before making any changes.

What has motivated you to come here and make this commitment now?

Hi B-MB,

First of all welcome to the forums!

During several years I was dealing with depression and I didn't know about it. Because I came from a moderate to severe depression medication was essential in my recovery but first I had to find the right doctor which finally helped me. Medication alone was not sufficient but with the help of CBT it was possible to control the symptoms of depression and have a better life.

Take adavantage of the program presented on this site. It works for many people who do the homework. In my own case I only needed the first 7 sessions (My Program) and anxiety and moving forward sessions (More Help).

If you need any help do not hesitate to ask here on the forums. Somebody will help you.

Hi

I have been struggling with depression for some time now. Took me  a long time to recognize it as depression, then even longer to get GP dr to help me with, then another year to realize that medication was not as helpful as it should be.

Now that medication has been tweaked and appears to be helping, I want to investigate, and implement the tools that will assist me in improving my mental wellness and move towards being medication free. I want to follow thru on this commitment in a ernest, dedicated manner for both myself, my date & daughters.

Sincerely
B-MB
