Hi Everyone
For the last 4 weeks I have been learning meditation and relaxing techniques. Mindfulness has
allowed me to be alert and aware of things that I haven't before in a non judgemental way
This was before the problems at my part time job.
However, I am able to do the meditations in my mind and don't always need the cd to guide me.
I also am learning to deep breathe which I really had a hard time doing. It does help with anxiety
and stress. I also try to go thru my comfort box and colored pictures. However when everything
seems to be coming at once and very overwhelming I don't go to my grounding exercises.
I can't seem to look at the thank you cards, funny books with pictures, and look at my stress
and relaxation workbook. I actually stopped being on the internet for the last 3 weeks.Does
anyone have any comments or suggestions, and I know just do it and allow for present. I have
to redo this program from scratch, since I have so many cognitive distortions I need to work on.
This week my plan is to work on some thought records and refute my thoughts etc...
