I find walking great.  At first it was tougher for me. but now I can walk for hours and quite fast too. I feel in much better shape. Lately I have not walked as much and have gained weight... Well, I also eat more in all fairness... Depression makes me eat and it makes me tired. Bad combo. But walking often helps me with my anxiety issues. It helps me clear my head and just let go. I feel like as I walk my brain gets put back in order.

Members,

Did you know that walking has many positive effects on the mind and body?

It can be therapeutic

It can increase metabolism

It can clear your mind

It can relax you

Choose your own strategy!  What do you want walking to do for you?

Is it a coping mechanism?

Is it an avoidance technique?

Is it part of your exercise routine?

What does walking do for you?
