I'm sorry to hear about your nasty fall.... Hang in there! In a week you should be fine and playing again with your granddaughter.

Hi, just need to vent a bit.  I scheduled something "fun" to do.  I bought my granddaughter a playhouse and got some help to put it together.  I went to my son's house to start putting it together and taking things out of the box.  I have Meniere's Disease (it means I have dizzy spells).  I turned around, fell, broke my fingernail way down in the quick, broke the board, sprang my wrist and pulled some ligaments and muscles in my shoulder.  I called a 1-800 number associated with my insurance and they recommended by my symptoms I go to ER.  Thank goodness there isn't anything broken.  However, it did put a damper on my scheduled fun.  I did get to go watch my granddaughter play in the house this afternoon. arm in sling and pain meds.  I have some negative thoughts running through my head (self-pity mostly).  I keep trying to ward them off, but the pain doesn't make it easier.  There is a higher incidence of Meniere's disease in people with depression than in the general population according to some studies I have read.  It is a bit frustrating that all the "other" medical issues I have a related to my depression.  IF IF IF

Thanks for listening
