Hi! paddington You are not burdening me with your woes,don't ever think that ,we are all here for some reason or another whether it be a shoulder to cry on moan or find someone who is grieving the same as them,no matter how big or how small the problems maybe. Anyway I'm pleased at the last read of your posting that things are going well for you,it's wonderful to hear that your clinic appointment went well and treatment is on it's way. GOOD ON YA,Great progress so far don't ya think? as a few weeks ago you were not so sure which paths to take so to speak,but now you have sought,you battled and now your winning. keep on going heading for that finishing line. ps, have you seen Recess? with MIKEY TJ VINCE SPINELLIE GRETCHEN & GUS where they are having a Kindergarten race and Mikey is training Tubby,well all I can say is KEEP RUNNING AND HEADING FOR THE FINISH LINE. DON'T EAT THE WRAPPERS. HA HA! TALK SOON AND TAKE CARE

Hi Dss, Thanks for your post, the clinic went well and i'm waiting for the appointment to start treatment. The nurse said I should get treated quickly because of the children, I have a boy of 10 and a girl of 6, so it all looks good so far. As for everything else we seem to have settled back into the same groove as before (ie like nothing has changed ) but time will tell. Its great to hear from everyone as its nice to have words from people who know what you are going through, and not people who say "just pull yourself together and it will be ok". Thanks again take care and look after yourself.

Hey Paddington...just wanted to drop a line and wish you well today and that I hope your visit to the clinic is a good one. I think the counselor is right...things will look different to you once clean. I want you to know that when this does happen and if it gets a bit frightening seeing things as they really are...that you remember that you have people who care here and want to help. I couldn't imagine what you will be going through, but know that you are getting good thoughts sent your way while in the process. Find your peace, my friend...for better or worse, things will work out...I am a fatalist...this process will be your journey into self discovery. Embrace the person you find that you are...How amazing you can be. Peace to you

Hi Iqon Thanks for your post and sorry not to reply sooner. Everything at the moment seems to be going very well maybe to well I don't know, I've an appointment at a clinic on friday and have been to a relate counselor about my relationship with my unfaithfull partner, but still its to early to say what will happen. The counselor says I will think and feel different when clean from the drugs. Thanks for asking and sorry to burden you with my woes. You take care and look after yourself.

Hi! paddington welcome I'm new here this is my opinion which I don't want to upset by that what you really need to do right now is to concentrate on yourself and get yourself well.you are not responsible for her cheating on you,did you put her arm up her back? NO! she's a grown woman she made the decision all by herself.The positive thing that came from this relationship I see is the children,get yourself well have plenty of contact with the children and move on.it may seem hard now but the future will get brighter.

Hey Paddington...I am happy to hear that your baby step (going to the dr's) has become a huge (safe) leap! I am very glad that you are getting the help you need and to have the crisis center call you...amazing! I hope things work out the way YOU want them to where your partner is concerned. Kudos to you! I love hearing the positive events happening in someone's life. It gives me hope for my own. Keep going, friend...Things will get better for you. Peace.
