i think it helps others to see that there are people who are going through the same things that they are and to read how they cope with it. and sometimes how they don't cope so well with it. i know it helps me to get others' points of views about depression, especially when i know they won't just tell me to cheer up. this can be such a hard illness to live with and having other people to support you is a great help. here's hoping that more of the browsiing guests join us so we can get to know each other better.

hello i observe many "browsing guests" on this site. i am thinking that some of you may be depressed, looking for answers and solutions. this site, i think, provides considerable insight into depression and also some suggestions as to how we might battle this disease. perhaps, you, the "browsing guests" might become involved in the site. write about your experiences. ask some questions. put some of your frustrations on paper. as more people participate this will become a more useful, informative and interesting place to visit. don't worry about composition, logic, spelling, etc...just let the words flow...no one knows who you are. my experience has been that the people on this site are very kind and supportive. i write a lot here, because i enjoy writing, but also because i feel better when i but my thoughts and my problems onto the screen. take care bob
