Davit,
It's amazing how immersed you are in whatever you do. I'm usually in my "head", but it was different this evening.
Last week, I noticed some neighbours set up this simple plug-in bbq, so I thought I'd try my "George Foreman" grill. I don't think I ever tried it, and I'm so slow at getting things done(like a vent in the kitchen) that I decided this was an alternative to smoke in the kitchen, and humidity.
There were some obstacles, since I forgot to tie safety shoes, and nearly fell on cement stairs; the basement door wouldn't close, and I had to be careful with the extension cord, since I didn't wish to damage the moulding around that door(and it's precious stuff with the wicked winter just passing);and it was an experiment anyway.
Cooking peppers seemed to take the same time outside as in the oven, even though I was doing one at a time, but it will pay off tomorrow, when I hope they taste okay. I did try to convince mom that her favourite tv do(Dr Oz) recommended eating them raw, but we all have our preferences, don't we?
I lost myself in what I was doing for once, instead of that strange dimension of the mind that can carry me away to negative places.
