Bereavement, Loss, Mourning

Hugs,

I'm sorry for your loss. Each and every one of us deals with grief in a different way. For me, music heals and helps fill the time.

I am so sorry for your loss. There is nothing really that I can say that will make it less than what you feel. Time heals all I am told but I know it took time for me. I was told also to fill that time with anything just not leave it empty. Because I was only thirty when my Dad died I just went back to work. Now I would have to find something else to do.
I can't say I know how you feel because I don't. If there is anything I can do just ask. I am still reading posts.

My condolences on your mother's passing.  May the happy memories you have of her help you through this difficult time.  I'm not sure what the best way to mourn is.  Everyone is different.  Some people want the comfort of other people around, while others want to be alone with their grief (I am the latter).  Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, one activity at a time.

I wonder if anyone has advice with how to deal with mourning or bereavement? My mother passed away Monday, and I’m overwhelmed with time, since she was my focus. Things like cooking without restrictions, and just general planning seem to have too many options for me to decide. Somehow I have to structure time. I'm afraid of the uncertainty that follows. Any suggestions?
