Anemia

Hi Cara,

This is an interesting topic. I encourage you to do some research on the topic, I would love to know what you find out. I know some researchers even think anxiety may contribute to anaemia so that is something to consider as well. If the anaemia is causing strange body sensations this may lead to anxious thoughts which fuels anxiety.

Cara

There are a few possibilities. Iron is what makes red blood cells which carry oxygen and the brain needs oxygen.
Insufficient oxygen whether from forgetting to breath because of anxiety or low iron can cause dizzy spells which because it is foreign to the body can cause more anxiety.
Inner ear infection can cause anxiety in people prone to it.
Periodically I get low Iron but it is not a problem since I ignore my triggers and when I can't I tell them to go away.
But I have been doing this a long time, it is easier for me.

Can you please tell wild anemia causes anxiety symptoms? I am really thibking that my anxiety is brought on by anemia.

This is my story: a year and a half ago I started to feel dizzy and woozy and just not right. I went to my doctor and he said I was okay but have low iron.... When my iron was up I felt better and had no anxiety.... But I find that when my iron is low I get anxiety and dizziness etc....

I panic at every weird symptom I feel and it causes me to worry that somethjng bass happening to me therefore causing my anxiety....

I read a journal that anemia can cause anxiety symptoms and I'm not sure how true that is.... Maybe it relates to me because when I feel dizzy or off because of my lap iron it causes me anxiety thinking that it's a bad thing? Therefore scaring me and causes panic attacks? I don't have any stress in my life and I've always been happy. I saw a psychologist and she said I don't have any disorder ... But I still feel anxious....
