Thanks Ashley!

We are taking everything step by step which is very important to both of us.  I just received one more piece of good news today.  I got my first Freelance Writing job which I can do via email.  So, I am writing an article for an Author's blog about my adventures.  She wrote a book about finding your passion in life and she wants me to tell her readers how I am able to do what I'm doing now.  I'm going to start writing on the plane ride and I have a couple of months before the deadline.  I am also writing my own book and hope to get it published in the future.  I'm just open to trying everything and see what happens.  I'm also helping my South Korean boyfriend with an English version of his website, because his company is going global.  Gosh, I'm excited to see all of these new ventures unfolding in my life.  I don't know what will happen next, but I'm up for the challenges and tasks at hand.  And, I'm happily continuing my journey into the unknown.  I'm open to any and all opportunities.  Sometimes there are brief windows in time that are open, but after a time, if they are not entered, they close.  I can manage fear and not let it run my life anymore.  I am finally free.

Congratulations on your happiness Shari!

Sounds like you have big plans. I think it's great that you are waiting two years to get to know him. There is no sense rushing especially since it sounds like you are really starting to find your independence.

Good luck on your many new adventures!

Hi Everyone,

I came back to share some unbelievable news that is too good to be true, but it is.  One, I've lost 20 lbs. and have kept it off since this summer.  Two, I finally had the guts to divorce my husband, despite not knowing the outcome of what would happen in my life.  Then, something amazing happened that only happens in the movies, a dream, a fairy tale, or a romance novel.  I met a South Korean business man who has turned out to be the love of my life.  He is one of the top business men in his country and he treats me the way I've always wanted to be treated.  Words cannot express my feelings. He wants to marry me and we are taking two years to get to know each other first.  He wants me to travel around the world with him to foreign countries.  In ten days I am flying to South Korea and I will stay with him for three months and then he is flying back with me to the States.  My flight to Korea goes from D.C. to CA to Korea and three months later, I will be flying from Korea to Japan, back to the States.  So, I'm literally flying around the whole world.  I can't believe when I first started this program, I couldn't drive ten minutes down the street in my car.  Now, I am able to do everything I want whether I have fear or not.  I will tell you how I am able to do this.  I've had to develop a strong mind and believe in myself.  The biggest lesson I've learned is that the only limitations I had were self imposed. My mind is very powerful and my body will follow my mind.  I've had to face challenges and overcome many fears.  I've had to choose to live outside of my comfort zone and push and test myself to know I am able to thrive in this world successfully.  The result is confidence.  I know in any and all situations or problems and challenges that arise, that I can handle it. I am thankful and I have a constant attitude of gratitude for everything in my life.  I do not take anything for granted.  I am 51 years old now and I know my next 50 years are going to be better than the last 50 years.  I want to encourage you that nothing is impossible.  I am extremely happy and extremely busy and I thought I would drop in to update everyone.  If you don't hear from me, it's because I'm traveling around the world.  So, I want to leave you with another important key point.  Have a strong mind to do what you want to do with your life regardless if other's (family and friends) have opinions and want to talk you out of it. You have to do what's right for you.  You are the only one you are living with the rest of your life and it's your decision on how you want to live that life. Please do not try to talk yourself out of things.  I have spent most of my life making fear based decisions.  It's like putting a flea in a jar and he hits his head on the top of the jar until he doesn't try anymore, even when the lid is off.  Or, a gorilla who has been in a cage his whole life and when the door is opened, he does not try to escape, because he believes he cannot escape.  I believe in all of you, and regardless of how long it takes, everyone here will improve and be able to do what they thought was impossible to do.  Keep trying and never give up.  You will be amazed at the results.  I'm still pinching myself and believe me, I haven't woken up from this dream.  This is my new reality.  I love you all and want the very best for all of you.

Love always, Shari
