The first few days are horrific and you're blazing right thru them. Just remember you can do anything you put your mind to and that includes NOT SMOKING!
Have Faith! You can do it!

So a quick update. I've not been here for awhile. After the updating, every message I posted didn't show up so I stopped posting after several attempts but have kept my QUIT going strong. So today I figured I'd come in and try again and look! It works so I'm back! Didja'all miss me?
I got my pool a couple weeks ago. I put it up by myself with the help of my friend, hubby and 2 kids, it was a nightmare but it's up and running and very beautiful! I love it! (Now with all the money I'm saving by not smoking, I can pay the credit card off) <-- UUUUGGGGGGGGGG.
So I was doing the patches. I had one more week of 14 mg till I switch off to 7 mg. Well, on Sunday while I was swimming, my patch fell off and I said the heck with it and never put one back on and don't plan on it. (I have been withdrawling for the last couple days at times but not to bad... Although I have fought with my demon the last couple days... The worst time being yesterday, I held a pack of CAMEL's with 3 smokes in my hands and wanted to light one up and smoke it but I didn't. I wanted to knock my hubby over and steal his cigarette out of his mouth! I wanted a hit soooooo bad but never took one, nor did I knock him out!
I hate feeling this way but I'm suspecting it's the patch since I'm not wearing one. And another thing I hate... walking past my Boss's Mom's door and smelling the smoke while the door is closed. I love the smell, I just wanna go in and light up but I don't. Sometimes, I hate the smell of the smoke and sometimes, I just wanna sit and inhale it, almost like begging someone to blow their smoke in my face.
I must be going crazy!

It was a big step down but I think I'm through the worst of the withdrawl, I hope. I just thought I could do it and I'm succeeding so far! I don't know what I was thinking but it's done and over with.
I did it though and I feel good in the mornings and such. Hopefully it'll get easier as time passes. :)

Congrats Zehra. Reaching for the smokes will soon end as time passes. I don't even reach for them anymore. I don't think about them they way I use too, almost like I would die without one. I didn't.
It sounds like your QUIT is going to be a good one yet still challenging. Stay positive and don't give in! NOPE. Not One Puff Ever! And I mean it! That's all it takes for me... one puff and it's all over.
You can do this. :)
