Many congratulations! What a turning point and a whole new you is just ahead.
This is the beginning of the move from survival to recovery.
SO true. This is when you being a non-smoker becomes who you are rather than a thing you've done. Lainey and Bobbi, yeah... I was kinda goin' incognito. :) And Bobbi!! It's YOUR 100th!!!! Way to go girl!! How terrific is that?!! Thanks, Lady! I feel more "awesome" every day. Lizzie! Good to see you!! Yeah... it's still tough sometimes, but not like it was. Sometimes this feels quite normal to me. And there's hope... and it seems like I can really be smoke-free for a life-time. That's the assumption, anyway... and I'm going with it! If I still have the cravings once in a while... that's fine. I knew it would take time. And the way I look at it, when I was smoking I was suffering to destroy myself. Now, if there's some psychological or emotional discomfort... it's the price of healing. That's a better deal than I was getting as a smoker. :) And Lizzie... thanks for being here. Stormy....12 days until the BIG one!! And thank-you!! Seamus, remember... never give up. You'll do this! Ladybug, LouLou, MaMa G. and Mz. Banana (LOL), Thanks so much for the kind words!! It means a lot!
