I'm new................again

I'm glad you're back Ellimae! Betrayal is one of the hardest things to get through. I can't say you'll get over it but you CAN move on! Someday, forgiveness will overwhelm you and you should give it with no strings attached. I know it's hard right now but all the pain you have in your heart, you should give it to GOD and let Him guide you. I know nothing of the betrayal of a spouse but I was betrayed by my best friend and it was grave. I never thought I could forgive but I did and time heals all wounds. Yes, they are still there but time will heal you. Congratulations on your upcoming QUIT! You can do this girlfriend! Wish i could......

Hi Cough! I QUIT on May 11. When I quit. I loved my smokes. LOVED THEM! Loved the way they taste. Loved the smell. Loved how they made me feel AND I QUIT! I QUIT because they are killing me slowly. I QUIT because I didn't want my children to smell the smoke in the house anymore. I QUIT because I didn't want them to watch me die a horrible death by suffocation. I QUIT because it puts money back in MY pocket and not CEO's of the tobacco world. I QUIT because I can add so many more years to my life. I QUIT because I can do ANYTHING I set my mind too and YOU can too! I could go on and on about the benefits of quitting smoking but I won't. I want you to experience the feeling I have now that I haven't had a smoke in 20 somethin days! I'll admit, the first couple weeks were hard but as the days go by, you stop thinking about it. The first time I thought about smokes today was when my Boss's mom took her 11 month old grandson to the store. I said grannie is buying stinky smokes and she said yeah. I haven't the urge! I AM FREE AND YOU CAN BE TOO! Patch Users... ???

The box says you shouldn't cut them in half so I'm not going to. I am however going to step down here on Saturday to step 2 14mg. I was going to go for 6 weeks on step 1 but I'm ready and waiting to feel the withdrawl and I'm going to face it head on and get r' done. I feel good at this point, not really craving or thinking about smokes but well see how next week goes with step 2. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/11/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 27 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 675 Amount Saved: $94.50 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 23 Mins: 12 Seconds: 2

I'm Stepping Down

Yep. I'm Quiting... Step 1 that is and going to Step 2! Woooo Hoooooo! :p :) I feel good about it but I'm a bit nervous that I'm going to feel the withdrawl. Was it bad for those of you who did step down? JW. I'll be plenty busy with myself and my new pool I'm putting up on Thursday. I am so sick of sand, it isn't even funny and my legs hurt so bad from leveling the bottom of the pool site, I can't wait to get r' done! The dog had me on OT because she decided to walk through it this morning. OOOOOOO I was soooooooooo mad and a smoke would not have fixed it! Hope everyone had a good day!
