Congratulations on your decision!
What you really need is not luck, but determination and focus on your reasons for quitting.
Take each minute, hour and day, one step at a time, happy in the knowledge that you are giving that Nicodemon a good kicking!
Mr Ed ;)

Hi Aliebling,
You seem to be doing fine!
One significant change that I have noticed:
In the early days of my quit, I avoided the smell of smoke because it was reminiscent of my life as a smoker and left me with a feeling of 'loss'.
Now I avoid the smell of smoke because I find it unpleasant. Pure and simple as that.
Mr Ed :)

.... ok, so you have no nicotine in your body now. But ... your brain has got conditioned over the years this constant provision of a 'fix' - then the wait for the next one. It will take time for brain to get out of that routine.
Listen to some of the 'Elders' on this site - they will tell you how they rarely have cravings now. I believe that slowly, but surely, I am getting to this point.
There is no way I will give up my quit because it is getting stronger day by day.
It is worth the wait
