Good Morning Mike,
You are sounding extremely positive today :). It is great to hear that you are staying fit and healthly. Regarding your increase in Effexor...talk to your doctor and tell him what you have told us. Let him know that you are unsure of what to expect when the dose is increased. Mike, your docotor knows you just as well as you know yourself. His answers will be beneficial in helping you live each day with unanswered questions. I hope that I have guided you in the right direction.
Have yourself a great day :)
Melanie
Good Morning Joco :)
Have you discussed these medications and their doses with your Doctor? He/she should be able to explain to you why the medications have increased or changed. If you feel that you are having a setback it is good to let your Doctor know ASAP.
We hope that we were able to direct you in the right direction Joco :) Please feel free contact us anytime if you have any other questions or concerns.
Take care,
Melanie
Good Morning :),
In all honesty, I have not been able to find a study that truly shows that SSRI's causes brain damage. I will continue to research this topic for you and will let you know ASAP if I find any medical based research.
In the meantime, let your doctor know how you feel with regards to your findings. He/she should be open to any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks for the interesting post. Take care and we hope to hear from you again soon :).
Melanie
Hi Melisa,
Congratulations on your new baby :). A new little one in our lives may cause us to experience many emotions! Have you discussed these feeling with your doctor? If you have the time, maybe it is best to see your doctor and discuss with him/her how you are feeling?

Melanie
Amish Beauty,
No need to rush into things. Driving is obviously something that you are working at at your own pace. It does indeed sound like you are making progress!
When you feel that there is no hope remember your goals and remember little steps are big steps!
Thanks for posting such as informative message today! We look forward to hearing from you again real soon :).
Melanie
Good Morning deejaroo,
Thanks for posting with us this morning. I really feel that you should discuss with your doctor that you are thinking of taking a new medication. He/she knows you best and will tell you the benefits or symptoms of specific medications (in this case Wellbutrin). We understand that you feel embarrassed regarding your panic attacks. We hope that you doctor and the members of this support group will help you find all the answers that you need.
If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to jump back on the site!
Have a great day :),
Melanie
It is important to understand what you are feeling and what the outcome may be. In this case you do understand your feelings and you need answers. If your friends and family are not supportive then you may have to tell them that you are hurt and you need them during this time in your life. Being open and honest will let others feel and see what you may be going through. We thank you for being open and honest in this support group and we hope that you will find some answers to your questions on our site.
With regards to medication, I would recommend you to see your doctor. You really want to make sure that you are taking the proper medication and the proper dosage. Your health is always number one and you understand this. Having a loved one move away is tough. Always remember the positive aspects of your relationship and remember; "distance makes the heart grow fonder".
We will be thinking of you and hope that you will find positive support. Our support will always be here for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Thanks again for posting with us!
Take care,
Melanie
Hi Francis,
Sounds like you are going through a difficult time in your life. Have you had the opportunity to see someone professionally to talk about these feelings? There are many people who are experiencing the same situations as you are today. Please do not feel ashamed or embarrassed, you are not alone. We have free support tools that are available to all members of our support group. Please try our Anxiety Test and our Panic Program/Diary. If you feel that these are not helping you always have this free interactive support group.
Please post with us again and we hope that you will find all the answers to your questions :)
