hi im new

hello i have joined today after comming on here for the last 3 weeks reading everybodys post it has kept me going in my quit i have been smoke free for 3 weeks i just stopped after 22yrs i had enough of the smell and the habit and being in a place i couldnt smoke getting stressed wondering how long before i could light up again i dont want to be that person anymore stressing for my next ciggy.my quit was easy at first i found day 4 i was climbing the walls after that i felt so much better health wise smell taste everything felt good then at the begining of week 3 i hit a slump my mood changed i havnt stopped crying all week even went to my docs for check up who said i was fine and healthy and that it would pass and said its proberbly where i have given up smokeing. Well today as im going in to week 4 of my quit the tears have stopped and my mood is starting to lift again.im so glad i didnt give in and have a smoke in the past week it was so tempting to everybody just starting out keep going i didnt think i had the will power to do this but i found it and this site has helped me so much thankyou everyone whose post i have read. hi im new

hi i am not takeing any thing for my quit i went cold turkey,i think i must of subconsciously wanted to give up couple of months before my quite date i think i was testing my self to see how long i could go with out a smoke i would not have one as soon as i get up in the morning and for the last six months i wouldnt go and light up straight after a meal i would do the dishes tidy up then have one. it is not easy.sometimes the craveing is so strong i want to give in because i get so up tight and irritable but i keep fighting it away the good thing is i am not haveing as many big craveings as i was at the beggining of my quit.
