My daughter (who is 16 and has never smoked) has anxiety/panic attacks and guess what brings them on? CAFFIENE! Caffiene is a stimulant and it sends her right off the edge!
LOTS of caffiene in that dark chocolate! Might wanna switch to white chocolate or pretzels or something!
Just a thought.

Hi NikNak!
Your mom quit the same day I did, so I always watch for her posts and they're always so special... she's obviously a very special lady. Smart lady, too, sending you to this site. :)
I'm sure she wants you to be as free as she's gotta be feeling now! (It's the way I'm feeling!) It's horrible, this addiction, how it keeps you a slave, calling on you every thirty minutes of every day! How liberating it is, to be free of that!
When you have a few moments, click on the program tools on the left side of the screen - they really are helpful in planning a quit.
Best wishes!

Okay, my quit meter says I've saved over $120. My husband quit the same time I did and smoked about the same number of cigarettes per day, so between the two of us, we've saved about $240.
What have we spent?
My bicycle: $78
His plane ticket to go with me on a week-long business trip over Valentine's Day: $209
Total: $287
Oops! Went a little over! :D
One of the coolest things about this trip is: WE RESERVED A NON-SMOKING ROOM! Wooohooo!

Hey y'all, THANK YOU for the encouragement & support!!
Every day I am so grateful for the changes in my life. Get this...
I can yawn. Deeply.
For at LEAST the past twenty years, I have not been able to have a really deep, satisfying yawn. How sad is that?!? In the past few days I have noticed that not only can I breathe deeper, my yawns are GREAT. What a weird thing to celebrate, LOL.
I saved my little glove compartment thingie today... just thought it was neat.

See that peak on the 16th? That's me going off the patches. See that I'm back down to a low/moderate craving level? It has gotten SO MUCH EASIER so quickly that I'm amazed!
Doing a little happy-dance here in Florida. =D
