Thanks so much for all the support. You all are like the family I want when I quit (the support that is). CD, there is no way in heck I'm letting you pass :-) I like looking right there in my rear view mirror and having that securing you are there just in case to catch my fall (which I know you wont have too because I have so much support here).

Hey Cani, Welcome and yep, I will ditto what everyone else has already said! Everyone can do it. It does take determination and a committment to reach out when things get rough (especially logging onto this site so we can help). The people here will answer and I knwo for a fact they have so helped me with my quit and helped me keep my quit. I wanted to give up sometimes but people that have already been where I have always get me out of the rut I've put myself in. Wonderful wonderful people here. Just reach out

Hi Loony, Glad you have you back and seeing you quit again. Thats a great example for anyone who does "fall off the wagon". You got right back on even if you did start smoking after a couple year quit. Great example I will need to remember that I am always vulnerable to that temptation if I let my guard down.

WELCOME BETS! HI BELLE, I had to start walking (up to 2 miles an evening now) in order to keep the weight off. I was starting to gain and I was eating only fruits and veggies. Now I'm eating fruit, veggies and meat/poultry again. Dont give up on your quit because of a few extra pounds. Do get exercise though.

OMG!! I love your pug!! (I mean mini-darth). I also noticed I have more energy. I'm walking 2 miles in the evening when it cools off. I really believe smoking does a body harm.

Hopefully its paper targets if you are going to shoot your pistal :-) Yeah its weird for me to try to find something else to help me defuse because I used to reach for a smoke every time. I still reach but there aren't any there and I say "duh"
