I don't actually. Maybe watch a movie later or something :) I think the first day is the hardest because I haven't got the hours behind me yet. Plus the nicotine is still in my system. :(
Alas, we battle on! Can't wait till I actually forget how many days have passed since I've had a cigarette :)
Thank you so much for your great message. Although very inspiring, it made me feel extremely guilty because I have messed up today. I didn't smoke. Instead, I went and bought an electronic cigarette and used it. Don't get me wrong, such products help thousands and it's not my first time using this product either.
It's just that when I tried to give up whilst using the e-cig, it lead back to smoking. I've now tried every single nicotine replacement product available and every product led back to me smoking. That's when I thought, no more Nicotine! I told myself that if I attempted to give up again, I would go cold turkey.
Thanks for your message. It seems that I've never wanted it 100% and the sad thing is, I don't think I will. I think that I'm so addicted, I can't listen to the person behind the addiction. I find that I truly want to give up on certain days, and then the motivation falls apart. I feel extremely weak and I messed up today (my first day)!!
I promised myself that I would go cold turkey. I bought an electronic cigarette earlier and started puffing away. That stupid chemical is in my body again and I'm back to square one.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. Most of my family on my mother's side all smoke and my uncle died from smoking just two years ago. I have been smoking for 4 years now, (4 years too long) and my health is beginning to deteriorate. It is time for my to kill my habit once and for good!
I posted a post on another thread of mine and I basically said that I am trying the "Cold Turkey" method again (as of 15 minutes ago). :)
