I've tried every single method under the sun to quit and not succeeded. Wish I could say that NRT worked for me, but I was just too weak! This time I'm trying cold turkey because that is the only way that I'll ensure that I'll never smoke a cigarette again. I cannot wait till the nicotine has left my body and I can start feeling better about myself. Glad to hear that there are people quitting everyday and I thank you for your advice!

" - I used Chrome, went into profile settings, then avatar near the bottom. I then clicked option 2 and selected my picture from my computer :)
The odd thing is, I didn't prepare at all! I just thought that planning will never work for me as I'll never want to let go. So, I was harsh on myself and after looking at a smoking horror story on the web, I decided that now is best. :)
The thing is, I'm not ready to say goodbye. I don't think I'd ever be able to. That's why I thought walking away without thinking "this is my last cigarette", would be the best decision for me. However, the fact that there is a family member who smokes in the same household/and does so in the kitchen, makes this even harder!
The kitchen has now become a "smoking" cue along with the garden, utility room, in my car, living room and 50 other places. My brain just can't seem to switch off or move away. Been this way for 15 minutes. A little long for a craving, no?
