Cali, I'm anxious to see how they respond.  I used to get a zillion things from Camel.  Little freebies, tshirts, etc.  Never got race tickets though.  Its amazing what the companies to do keep us addicted with these "perks".  Go get 'em!

Let them have it!  I guess they are still being a little sneaky in getting in their race advertising, even though they can't advertise anywhere on the racetrack

Sad to say that I have not heard back from Philip Morris or Penske Racing.  But I will email them everyday to let them know I am not happy...

Good for you Caligirl!
Please let us know what the outcome is. I would be interested to know what the race company has to say about this situation.

Go get 'em!

Hey Caligirl!

Great looking stats!!!  Look at the $$$ you've saved!!!  Maybe you ought to use some of that money and go to the race anyways!!!  Make a big freakin' sign telling your story and strut it out in front of the race track for hours!!!  Call the television station and get your story spread!

There's more than one way to skin a wabbit!!!

Absolutely preposterous. I'd seek legal action and sue em, its not like their short of a few quid. I thought discrimination was the new murder in the eyes of the law. Being segregated and told you are excluded from participation because your a non smoker is definately segregation. Its not like your going into it not knowing that your going to be surrounded by smokers, the choice to participate in that, is entirely yours. You (unlike smokers) have free will after all.

I'd get rich off this one.

Breanne,  Thank you.  Yes I did go on and tell this person how discusted I was and how this proves that the cigarette companies do this to keep people smoking.  One thing I forgot to say in first post was, the person on the phone told me, if you pick up smoking again, please re-register for future offers.  I told the lady (in not very lady like words) no thank you.  And told her that I would not be very proud of my job if I were her.  Just still so angry.  I am in the process of writing the company and giving them a word or two.  Also wrote the race company who's name is working with them.  Wanted them to know how a company of that they are working with is treating race fans.  I want the cigarette company to know that I'm not going to just let this go.  They have not heard the last of me.
