Wow!!! This has been such a busy week!! Both girls at Vacation Bible School this week, and we also invited a friend to go along too. I've been driving back and forth, back and forth..... VBS, playdate, lunch, etc........
Yesterday I got to visit with my grandparents. It is always a treat. I miss them very much. They moved away from here about 5 months ago. I has been hard emotionally, because I cannot afford to fly to see him, and my hubby cannot take that much time off to drive. I'm just glad that at their age, they can make the trip. It was nice to hug them. You cannot do that through the computer. And this was the FIRST time that I didn't have to come up with an excuse to leave so I can get home and smoke!!! What a feeling..... I was able to sit and talk for 2 hours. Straight........ I liked that feeling so much. I'm still in awe of my freedom. It shows me how strong I really am. And how determined I have become.
Oh.......... anyhow, back to the beach.
Healer: I am usually here. I will help you. I will try to gather a list of upcoming beachcombers. It is almost time for the CARE group to arrive, so we must be ready. And, I cannot to forget to add that unfortunately, I cannot afford to live in Malibu.... it is not far from me though. About 30-40 min away. My hubby works in LA (45 min away) but most of his clients are in Malibu. I live in Simi Valley, which is in Ventura County. We lie just a hair before the LA county line.
Funny ~ I was born and raised here in SV, but I have never made it to Manhattan Beach. Sounds nice though. I spent my teenage years in Malibu at the beach. Very nice. You are right, you do not need air. Unfortunately, that is over 30 min away, and where I live, we do..... If you visit, let me know!!!
This beach is awesome!! Thank you Coben for the jet skis. I enjoyed them!! I've never really rode one on the beach before. Our waves get kinda big......... But here, I can!! So thank you!!
Ron - you are such a wonderful person. I just wanted to tell you that. And thank you, our weather has changed a bit. Yesterday was a bit easier on the humidity. And today, I can see the sunshine!!!!
I will check in later!!! Have a great one everybody!!
