I'm not sure what year I started here. I can't remember. But what I do remember is the support I got here. I tried quitting numerous times. I'd make it a week, two weeks, a day-- even 2 months! ... fall off the wagon numerous times.
You (to whomever reads this), can do it. It may not be today, or even tommorrow. But the thing that kept me going, was that I knew I wanted to quit. I really knew it.
That wasn't enough at first. I tried working the plan, nicotene replacement, gum, candy....... I tried everything mentioned. Stuff would work for awhile. But I had to find what was right for me. As you do.
So keep quitting. There are a ton of people here that did it the first time they tried. But that's not the norm, and no one will judge you if you fall. But be honest, as I have been, and keep trying. I've come back multiple times after each attempt, and there is always someone here to embrace and encourage you.
If you fall, re-evauleate your quit plan, and try again. There's a ton I've learned. The main thing is don't try the same plan twice.
Good luck and hugs to all you out there......... you can do it. Today, or eventually. Just don't stop trying to quit.
