Sparks, It really does get easier the longer you go, as Tresa said take it one moment at a time, if you really want to quit you will. Just remember N.O.P.E. bobbi, You have been smoke free for 6 months and you still are fighting the cravings? I don't know if I have to fight this everyday for more that 6 months, not sure I can do that. I hoped that after a couple of weeks It would be a lot easier. thanks for your words everyone. It is great to meet new people and know the advise I am getting is from folks that understand completly what I am going through. I am still working my NOPE program, and have one more day of work to get through until I get two days off. Work has been the toughest for some reason. Keep those posts coming as I appreciate every one of them. Thanks Gang, Sparkwins My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 120 Amount Saved: $52.80 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 1 Mins: 52 Seconds: 30

Welcome Sparkwins! I so feel your pain and also hear my words a few months ago - you CAN do this! Let me tell you the best part of not smoking in your car -- the first cold snap we had, I realized I didn't have to freeze my arse off with the window down to let the smoke out. Of course, it took me 10 miles to remember that (I've been a bit slow since quitting!) but I am so ready for driving in the snow now! Congratulations on your decision! Post often!
