Oh, Yay for you starrider!!!! As you said, that is a first for you and one that you won!!! Really thrilled for you...just finish today out and you'll be through the hardest week. Each day that you go to work and don't smoke will make it easier the next time. I finally don't even think about smoking after I'm through work. It can be done! Reward yourself and enjoy the rest of the weekend -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 163 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,520 Amount Saved: $1,108.40 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 19 Mins: 57 Seconds: 11

Doodles Yea, understanding the why of the addiction is a real big part of doing this...I used to think of quitting as simply the cessation of smoking...the ending of an act...That is a receipt for failure, because there is no understanding in that. When we begin to recognize why we hurt ourselves by smoking we begin to make it better. For better or worse we are very complex beings, and there are reasons that we do what we do, even if we are not aware enough to know what those reasons might be...This is also why as you move forward you will go on a little trip of self discovery...Just remember, that this is the best gift you can ever give yourself and the people in this world who love you... Stay strong and quit nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 250 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,500 Amount Saved: $1,750.00 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 17 Mins: 32 Seconds: 5
