HI freedom1 ~ and a warm welcome-
I'm a 54 year young female and I have always been healthy BUT have never felt healthier than I do today... I can breathe like a 20 year old and I walk and walk with no shortness of breath... My doc just looks at me and says, I have no idea what you're doing, but keep doing it...
YOU can do this, dear one...
If your commitment to quit is stronger than the desire to light up - that's all you need - the rest is learning the coping skills you will need in the tough times...
Spend some serious time here on this site... old posts are treasures, so spend time with them. Learn that time passes - so craves get weaker as the clock ticks. When a really strong crave hits, ride it like you would a surfboard on a huge wave... it will be gone before you know it.
This addiction is powerful...and YOU are more powerful, friend.
Just make up your mind, ground yourself and own your own power. There is nothing that can make you smoke...
We're all right here... so reach out and take your shoes off and get comfortable here... this is where you will find the support you need to get through this.
Blessings and Light-
Healer
