Hello. Way to go on having 11 smoke free days!!! I haven't used Chantix but have heard some good things about it. I am new here myself but have had some great words of wisdom and a lot of encouragement come my way, I am sure you will as well. Once again, way to go on having 11 days down..... Just wanted to check in as new here. I have smoked for 52 years. Have tried all methods and am doing the best with the new prescription drug Chantix. Would be interested if anyone has used it. Trailbum, Welcome to the SSC and congratulations on deciding to quit! The more tools you use, the more likely you are to be successful so be sure to take advantage of our program located on the left side of your screen. Start reading through the forums, there are a few members out there who are using Chantix. If you're experiencing any side effects as a result of using Chantix, please consult your doctor. We are so glad to see you on our boards. Please keep us posted on your progress. Two weeks is just around the corner, start planning your reward. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Welcome, Trailbum. I have no personal experience with Chantix - sorry. But I want to wish you all the best. My only advice is to want this with all of your heart and take it one day at a time and when the going gets tough, don't forget to breath (sounds obvious, but I surprised myself) and set micro-goals (just make it 5 minutes at a time if need be). Soon these trying days will be behind you. We're here to do our best to help each other. Life or death, live or die. There is only do, there is no try. Choice puts the free in freedom. No hurries, no worries. Keep on keepin' on and... keep fightin' the good fight - fish :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 288 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,659 Amount Saved: $1440 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 7 Mins: 41 Seconds: 13
