Welcome, Trailbum.
I have no personal experience with Chantix - sorry.
But I want to wish you all the best.
My only advice is to want this with all of your heart and take it one day at a time and when the going gets tough, don't forget to breath (sounds obvious, but I surprised myself) and set micro-goals (just make it 5 minutes at a time if need be). Soon these trying days will be behind you. We're here to do our best to help each other.
Life or death, live or die. There is only do, there is no try.
Choice puts the free in freedom.
No hurries, no worries.
Keep on keepin' on and...
keep fightin' the good fight - fish :)
