Howdy folks,
I have been on here before. I have quit many times in the past. The most recent before this quit was back in October 2005. I was on Wellbutrin then, but I never really got the foul taste you are supposed to get. I lost my apartment, and had to move home to the "P's". I never really quit either.
Well, now I want to join the Army. I have to be able to run. To run I need clear, clean, healthy lungs and organs. So, I went to my new family doctor. He introduced me to my new best friend. His name is Wellbutrin.
I was to smoke and take these pills every day. Then on day seven I was supposed to quit. I was also supposed to get a bad taste in my mouth when I smoked. Well, it worked. It worked so well, that on day 8 of smoking and taking the meds, that it tasted like burnt up cat poo. So, I gave away my smokes and lighter to my co-workers. I have been smoke free for 9 days now. I have hocked up not brown, but black crud. Everytime I clear my throat, more comes up. My nasal cavities are still clogged though. I would love to be able to breathe at night without having to take an AlegraD. I know it may be months before I stop hacking up my lungs. I know I may have irreversible allergy symptoms. Oh well! At least, I won't be smoking.
I haven't really had the severe withdrawal. I haven't had the sweating DT's. But, more recently, I have been getting light-headed, and dizzy. I have also started wondering why I quit. But then it goes away and I rejoice at the conquering of the craving.
I am tired of quitting only to take up the foul nasty habit again. My boss smokes and she walked about 10 feet away from me and whew! Holy Cow! Did she ever stink. I promised myself that no matter what happens with my life and my dream of being in the Army, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER PICK UP AND LIGHT UP ANOTHER CIGARETTE OR TOBACCO PRODUCT AGAIN!
Thanks for readin' and supportin'
