Having a little bit of the crying thing.

Hi, greenette. Congratulations on starting your quit and welcome to the SSC. StuBow has given you some great advice. The crying is normal. For the next several days, mood swings of all types are going to be normal. Don't worry about it. Nicotine affected the chemistry of your brain and body for years until it became "normal". Now that they are deprived of it all h**l's breaking loose. They will adjust and everything will settle down. Just try not to kill anybody in the interim :). Spend time here reading and posting. It's a proven fact you can't light up while your fingers are busy on the keyboard. You've started a grand journey, greenette. Glad you've decided to make us a part of it. Let us know how you're doing and how we can help. Welcome to the SSC. There doesnt seem to be a book that says you will feel this ot that, but I doknow I cried alot when I first quit. I was mad alot too. But it does get better and you are going to feel wonderful. I am so proud of myself for doing this and you will too. Its not easy but its worth it!!!
