Monica, Good stuff! Not all the bad times you had last week, but the fact that you didn't let "life" dictate your quit! Keep up the good work and your new, smoke free, life will be one of joy and success! Best wishes. Be Strong. Be Smart. Thank you everyone for your kind words of support. Well today is another day - Woke up feeling refreshed after a good 8 hrs. of sleep :) I've got to put last week behind me and go forward. I have some exciting things coming up in the next while and I'm going to focus on them. Once again thanks.. :) Monica My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 130 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,600 Amount Saved: $1,170.00 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 15 Mins: 49 Seconds: 39

Monica, You certainly have been through a lot. You are in the process of learning how to deal with "life" without smoking. That isn't easy for some of us. Always remember that smoking won't solve anything nor will it make anything better. There will be times in your quit that seem almost impossible but if you continue to march forward, you will find that these periods always pass. Hold on to your quit with all you have. It is worth every bit of the work you put into it. When you need to, go back to your coping skills you used in the beginning of your quit. Those still work. You will not get these cravings forever. I promise. You are a stong, amazing person. I have watched you from the beginning of your quit and you continue to demonstrate a inner strength that is incredible. Hang on tight Lady My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 690 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 13,800 Amount Saved: $2,415.00 Life Gained: Days: 62 Hrs: 7 Mins: 35 Seconds: 56

oh Monica, My heart hurts for you since you have so much to deal with all at the same time. I know you won't smoke. You have come too far for that. Please stay positive as you have always been. Everything happens for a reason, even if we cannot imagine what it is. When the time is right, we will understand. Who knew we would all come together on this site, just because we all decided to quit smoking? Some quit 'yesterday', some quit long ago, but all of us are right here, right now, together. More than I could have ever dreamed. Stay strong! We are all here for you. Hi Monica, Sorry to hear of your awful week. Please remember that it too will pass and next week will be better. You already know that smoking won't help, but just yell if we can help! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,925 Amount Saved: $812.35 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 11 Mins: 57 Seconds: 10

(((((((((((MONICA)))))))))))) So sorry to hear that things aren't going your way right now! But I'm SO proud of you for resisting that thought of a cigarette!!! After all you've been through, it would be a real shame to throw it away for something that only kills you! It's OK if that thought enters your mind. It's only natural. What's NOT OK is to dwell on it and make it a reality. But it sounds like you're managing alright and that's good. I hope this week is better for you! Crave the Quit!
