Hi G! No, no bakery =( I want to own one, one day. It has always been a dream!! I want to sell pies, sweets, treats, have a little place to enjoy your coffee or tea w/ free refills! I want to see people's faces light up when they taste my famous pie for the 1st time! Yes, I love baking and cooking. The caramel recipe came from my Great Grandma's recipe book! I cherish that book. It's older than dirt but it is my favorite. The caramels turned out so yummy!! Better than the Kraft caramels!! YUMMYY!!! I only have 2%. Is that ok? =) It's cold here =( BRRRRR!!!! HI Lynne! I am most positive I will step down next week to 14 =) I have been taking it off much earlier at night instead of waiting until 2 hrs before bedtime. I have been taking it off at between 6 - 7 pm. Then I am in bed by 10 pm. TY Lynne for the boost of support =) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 453 Amount Saved: $90 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 23 Mins: 48 Seconds: 35

Hi Stickin'! If I feel safe, I will step down next week. Right now, w/ everything going on for the last 5 mons w/ the hernia, surgery being cancelled 2X, and a new gi doc, etc is just too much stress to bear during this week. But I have a positive attitude that I will step down next week. I do not have to finish up the course of 21 mg. This is my 7th week of 21. Jumping thru lots of hoops for docs has been stressful in itself so I am just going w/ the flow at the moment. If this crap hadnt happened in the 1st place, I would be right on schedule. No worries tho. Hopefully I will be able to step down next week. I just do not want to lose this quit. =) On a side note, my step aunt is playing roulette w/ the patches, gum, and smoking. She does all 3. *insert wide eyes here* My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 453 Amount Saved: $90 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 23 Mins: 46 Seconds: 41

Hi Danielle! Yeah, I just didnt feel 'safe' enough to step down to 14 mg. I was afraid I would fall off and I didnt want that to happen. I would rather stay an extra week rather than go thru hacking up the brown crud (which is becoming smaller amnts now), stinking, etc. As for my step aunt, I know! She doesnt listen to anyone and she stays in over drive. I have to say she scares me!! YIKES! TY IS!! That is what I thought. I have this thing stuck in my head, "Protect the quit. DOwn with the rule at the moment". The attitude I have is not being able to change the things out of my hands and it feels like I am on a stationery bike. BUT on the flip side, I am still hanging on. CHEER UP IS! The SHAZAAM! dude will be here soon. wink wink nudge nudge My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 42 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 423 Amount Saved: $84 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 17 Mins: 37 Seconds: 7

Ok, w/ the added stress w/i the last few weeks and I am supposed to step down to 14 mg, do you think it would bother me if I stayed on the 21 mg patch for 1 more week? I truely am shakey about stepping down due to the circumstances that are out of my hands. I would love to hear what others think b/c I just feel I am not ready to step down tomorrow to the 14 mg. TY G =) I was so edgy b/c I wanted to follow the directions but the thing is if I stepped down, and then a trigger came along what would I do? So I deciced to just go w/ my inner voice and continue w/ the 21 mg.
