ex-slave - I'm with you... I have never seen or heard of an herb hurting anyone either... And I have had literally hundreds of friends and clients (and myself) taking many herbs, vitamins and natural remedies with wonderful results... And I will keep recommending them when I am led to and feel they will help someone :) Guess we all have an opinion :) (smile) Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 119 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,194 Amount Saved: $553.35 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 13 Mins: 1 Seconds: 34

ex-slave, So glad you found a natural sleeping aid.. I also take Melatonin, and my Dr approved of it, because I am so sensitive to all of the prescription drugs.. All of you if you are not sure, check with your Dr, but I think a high percentage of you will be very happy with the quality of sleep you get naturally. Works for me.... hi healer, I'm off to a bbq, but I will try the aim messanger tomorrow. I would love to im with you. Gosh, you must of been tortured about smoking; given your profession and enlightened understanding of nutrition, natural healing, etc. What a horrible addiction. I am so glad for you...almost 5 months free. That is wonderful. I'll be in touch tomorrow. I lie in bed for at least an hour, sometimes longer; tonight even longer, and can not go to sleep. It is so frustrating; especially when you have to get up for work in the am. I have only 2-4 2mg lozenges a day right now. It is too late now to take an over the counter sleep aid cause I will be groggy in the morning. I've tried them during other quits and I have to have at least 7 hours to sleep or I am out of it when I wake up. I wonder if tylenol pm makes you groggy in the am? Any other suggestions? I hate not being able to fall asleep at night. What's up with that? I have no problem wanting to stay asleep in the mornings...ha ha! Thanks everyone, Josie, I have no problem staying asleep during the night; I have a big problem falling asleep when i get into bed at night. I don't drink coffee or cola in the evenings. Last night I tossed and turned for 2 hours!! I finally got up and had a bowl of ice cream and read for a while. Niks, I use 2-4 2mg lozenges a day and I take wellbutrin. But, I have been taking wellbutrin for over a year, so I don't believe it is that medication. Gosh, I hope this gets better. Normally, it takes me about 20 minutes to fall asleep; but this is nuts! Thanks Healer, I've heard of melatonin, but I've never tried it. i will get some tomorrow. I took ambien once..it really knocks you out!! I could hardly walk to the bedroom 15 minutes after I took it. It seems very strong. Do you take one or two melatonin 20 minutes before bed or what? I'll let you know how it works for me.
