Hi Jen!!!

I rarely come here these days but was happy to see you checking in!!

14 & 1/2 years is a Wow!! But I think it will be a full 15 in July!!

Many of those you quit with are on the closed Facebook Group but I don't think you are - I may be wrong but I see no Jennifers there!

All the best to you!!

My freedom...I am no longer a slave to a plant! No longer do I have to adjust my life to my cigarette cravings! :-)

Thank you for the acknowledgement Ashley...looks like most of my old buddies are gone now.

Take care,
Jen <3

What's the best part about the non-smoking life?

I haven't checked in here for a very long time, so hello! My quit is still going strong after 14 1/2 years! I think a lot about the people that I quit with and hope they are doing well too. :-)

I'm forever grateful to the SSC for helping me understand the addiction process and to help me quit smoking. This is not my first quit, but it's my longest ever and my last.

I see that my acronym of NOPE is still around, that makes me feel really good. What it did for me is drive home the point that I cannot have one puff ever, that reawakens the addiction, then it's back to square one...no thank you!

The non-smoking life is worth whatever struggle you are currently dealing with...hang tuff and trust the process...it works. Take care!

Jen
