Grin The running has helped me a lot. I found that doing something that I could not do prior to ending the addiction, was a real help...Ok you've got me on the date, the only thing I can think of is that 7 and 21 are multiples of 3. So glad to see you moving along so well on this...It really is a wonderful gift...Not easy, but above all worth the sweat... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 367 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,010 Amount Saved: $3,853.50 Life Gained: Days: 66 Hrs: 22 Mins: 47 Seconds: 5

Sparky Thank you so much for the victory graphic, I really enjoyed that. It is so good to know that there are other people out there who are struggling and winning. I think it is always important to mark these milestones, not only as a way of affirming the completion of a difficult task, but also as proof positive that this can be done for anyone who might be having a difficult time... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 366 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,980 Amount Saved: $3,843.00 Life Gained: Days: 66 Hrs: 20 Mins: 39 Seconds: 0

Grin In short, 1 year is fantastic. I put that little story in there so that you might be able to get a feel for my sense of what my quit is like. I think that your quit may be a bit like mine as you appear to have been an emotive smoker like me. I do hope that you are getting comfortable with living without the emotional blanket. It can be a shock to the sensibilities, but you already know that. The bottom line for me is that I realize I never needed to smoke in the first place. Once you truly understand that it is possible to handle anything life throws your way without resorting to destroying your body, you will have found the key to the prison we made for ourselves. In the end, we are both the jailer and the prisoner. All we must do is give ourselves permission to ask for the key... Todash Thank you so much for the bubbly...I always look forward to seeing your posts. I do miss the periodic existential outburst, but I imagine the lack of those is due to the fact that you have this thing well under control. And for that I am very happy... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 366 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,980 Amount Saved: $3,843.00 Life Gained: Days: 66 Hrs: 20 Mins: 30 Seconds: 36
