Just had to jump back in here. That oatmeal sounds so damn good and I don't even like oatmeal. Greger you could do a romance novel with food.LOL My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 147 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,940 Amount Saved: $588.00 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 13 Mins: 53 Seconds: 47

Now all this talk of cold weather brings to mind another Breakfast favorite. *begins lecture* Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Especially for people who have recently stopped smoking, it boosts your metabolism and helps you to burn calories as well as giving you the nutrition you need to make it to lunch. Oatmeal. Bland. Unexciting. Wrong. Peel and core an apple, medium dice it. Put the apple and your water on to boil along with a healthy dollop of dark brown sugar and Saigon Cinnamon. Inhale deeply. Drool. Now add Organic Steel Cut Oatmeal, stir etc. In about 20 minutes or so serve it with a pat of butter on top and another sprinkling of Cinnamon. And some more sugar and maybe a splash of cream or reduced fat milk... This will keep the goosebumps off those bare legs for hours. After 100 days I feel so free I could almost FLY. Running the air conditioner? OK, Now you're just being mean! I was wearing shorts today too, to paint in the bedroom....(somehow it's not quite the same) Ok, I promise I will come visit you someday! We can discuss quitting smoking over some of that gourmet toast! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 267 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,675 Amount Saved: $2,816.85 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 16 Mins: 31 Seconds: 14

Ah, Ladies, you certainly tempt this ancient and homely old kitchen scullion into venturing north and west. I feel I have regained a bit of my youth through tobacco cessation;) Che' Gregers Kitchen is always open should that cold weather become a burden to you and some Florida Sunshine might seem the thing to warm your bones. I wore shorts and a Floridy shirt today and we are still running the AC here. Deep in the forest, secluded, under mossy oaks, a small picturesque Inn. Che' Gregers Bed Breakfast and Beyond. Lake tours, wakeboarding lessons and guided tours to the local theme parks. NO SMOKING ALLOWED! ya gotta love the beach! That might do it Kell, especially if he knew what the snow bunnies wear under their snow suits! (You know they go straight to the hot tub!!!) He'd probably like hockey too, most guys do! There is all kinds of hockey here, from four year olds to seventy four year olds! Cold or not it has turned into a very pretty christmasy day here, huge powdery soft snowflakes falling all afternoon. Very nice! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 267 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,675 Amount Saved: $2,816.85 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 15 Mins: 39 Seconds: 59

Hmm... I'm thinking water-skiing is more his speed, Lainey, but maybe the snow bunnies will provide some encouragement! Greger - where there is snow, there are snow bunnies! and fire places! and cuddling! I swear I'll leave you alone with them, too...just as soon as I'm done eating. :p :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 94 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,820 Amount Saved: $549.90 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 10 Mins: 33 Seconds: 20
