Wow... I haven't taken a close look at my stats in a while.
Sixty-one hundred cigarettes NOT smoked!! $2266.00 that I didn't throw out the window... or worse, pay through the nose in an effort to destroy myself.
And the best part... I don't have to have a cigarette anymore. My life is my own again. In fact, I was so young when I started smoking, it feels like my life is my own... for the first time IN my life.
As I said *somewhere else* tonight, it was all worth it. Dealing with cravings, the frustrations, the knot I carried around in my gut for the better part of 4 or 5 months... the learning how to interact with life in a whole new way; ...it was all worth it.
The support I found here at SSC has a gone a long way to allowing me greater peace of mind, enthusiasm and motivation through the tough times... then I would have had on my own, I'm sure. And I'm extremely grateful for that.
