Wonderful, Blue cloud!! I remember how important that first month was for me, so I know how much it means to you! You're doing just GREAT!! We're proud of you and we'll be here to help encourage you as you go for 90! Which...by the way... you WILL achieve! :) And that reward sounds like just the ticket! Enjoy it, and enjoy today... because today is what it's all about!! Blue cloud That is such wonderful news. I know you've struggled throughout this month, but you've remained strong in your resolve to beat this addiction. You've shown yourself you can do this. Just keep on doing what you've been doing and you will see the days, weeks, and months add up. The March Mellows came up with a little reward for reaching that 30 day mark because we thought 50 days was a long time (which is the time it takes to make it to the Cruise Ship) to go. So, you are invited to a N.O.P.E. hot air balloon ride, soaring over the locale of your choice, complete with a basket of your favorite treats. What'll it be, ma'am? You're doing great, blue cloud, and you're an asset to this site. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 134 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,360 Amount Saved: $911.20 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 18 Mins: 4 Seconds: 1

blue cloud In point of fact its getting better all the time...30 days free of an addictive obsession is a super human feat...And you are still standing on your feet, fancy that...Well this should give you a clue and the confidence to know that you are able to do this. And you are so right when you say that cigarettes will not solve your problems...They will in fact add another layer of unnecessary difficulties that you can live without...Keep on the sunny side of this thing...It is hard because as we go through this thing we are both the observed and the observer...That makes it a bit difficult to always keep our heads on straight about the addiction...Keep up the great work you should be very proud of your progress and eager to add more good days... This is my quit. I will get through this. Not one puff ever. Smoking will not solve my problem. Those are some things I have told myself over and over the last 30 days. There were times when the nicodemon would use underhanded tactics to try and convince me just one wouldn't hurt but I didn't listen. I am rewarding myself with a new alarm clock ipod dock. I don't have and ipod but that will be my reward for my 45 day quit.heehee. Thanks to all you lovely people for all your help and support. It has been very important and without you I am not sure I would have made it. When I started this quit I said to myself I will see if I can go 30 days. Now I am setting my goal to go for 90 days. I saw the pictures of those lungs on the site and I want to give my lungs a chance to heal. I know this is a life time journey and I am just getting started but I am so very proud of these first 30 days. It is getting better even if I did have a bad day just two days ago. It is getting better. I am getting better.
