Hi Y'all! Just wanted to pop in here and share my one year anniversary with you. I smoked for 28 years, I was allergic to the patch, I had a serious, serious nicotine addiction. I never thought I'd win this battle, but I did. For those of you fighting this battle. Please don't give up. Once you've gotten through the first month, the worst is over. Once you've cleared 90 days, you've got it kicked. Just always remember the journey. If you start again, you'll have to do this again... you don't want to go through this again. The freedom you gain is so worth it. I can breathe again, I can climb stairs without gasping for air, I don't stink... you know, now that I've quit, I can smell someone smoking in a car at a stoplight even if their windows are up? We really do smell awful when we smoke, I had no idea. Its great to have my nose working again. I'm still washing down my house, I still find yellow stains on my things. I'm impressed every time I see it that I didn't see this stuff before and I'm proud that I see it now. You will be too, I promise you. My heart and energy go out to all of you that you rise up and conquer this and live long healthy smoke-free lives. I hope to be reading your anniversary message one day too!! Regards!
