Nurse, Thank you for starting this thread. What you do with your quit meter is entirely up to you. It is your motivational tool so select the option that will motivate you best. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Hey...sounds great. I love this new name and what a way to celebrate it! Glad to see you both right up top. Nurse29 - As far as I'm concerned, you just keep on goin' girl. You are still a non-smoker right. :) I'm noticing alot of people experience this and as long as you learn from it, it will reinforce your quit in the future. Your doing great! figured I'd start the thread with the clever tag line...does this work for everyone? Oh, by the way, I don't have to reset my stats, do I? :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 44 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 666 Amount Saved: $198 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 3 Mins: 50 Seconds: 5

Whynot - Those of us in the Northeast of the U.S. have been whopped by weather over the past few days! On Sunday, everyone got flooded...I seriously started to consider building an ark! It has been so windy & rainy! It made me think how incredibly ridiculous it would be if I was still smoking -- I would be outside getting drenched & blown down the street - but it wouldn't matter because I would HAVE to have that cigarette. Thank goodness I came to my senses 53 days ago! You have that right. Here on this side of Nova Scotia....we have had wind warnings, rain warnings, and storm surge warnings all last night and today...its starting to flood on the road to my house and the power just now came back on since 2 am. Oh what a horrible day it is. On one side, I dont have to worry about running out of smokes, but on the other side.....I had a heck of a time finding a lighter to light the candles. LOL...I guess I forgot to save one :) Hope things are better for you guys :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 61 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,535 Amount Saved: $503.25 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 8 Mins: 57 Seconds: 28

I found us on page 2 again...slackers. Legend, glad you're not smoking on your road trip--car rides were always the worst for me. I got stuck in traffic for over an hour on my way to work tonight. In the old days that would've been good for 3-4 cigarettes. Glad to hear everyone else is doing well. Those of us in the great nor'east have certainly seen our share of bad weather this week. I just want it to be sunny and warm so I can open the moonroof and shake off all the dust! Have a good day all! Hiya MomMom, Well, it's Sunny and 72 degrees here in Texas so you're not far off on your wish. It really is a beautiful day. I'll be so glad when it's warm and sunny where you and everyone else is too. Legend, you're doing a great job on your road trip. I haven't had one of those yet either so I'm hoping you'll pass along some of your "On The Road Again" coping tools. ha ha ha ha Stay Strong Everyone, Tutti
