Well done - good attitude When I was there in December they were talking about the hotels being smoke-free in 2007 - has that happened. If not - how did they smell to you and did you win My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 69 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,393 Amount Saved: $207 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 3 Mins: 42 Seconds: 53

please be aware in Vegas - its a hard town to not smoke in - I started once after a long break of non smoking in Vegas. Pls be careful. There something about the sites and sounds of those casinos that make you want to drink smoke and everything else - they do have non smoking tables if u gamble - that could help somewhat good luck My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 64 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,298 Amount Saved: $192 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 11 Mins: 12 Seconds: 1

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Leaving for home today and still smoke-free. I refuse to let smokes run my life any longer. I drank, I ate fine foods, I gambled. Basically, I am learning how to be normal without the nic. This may not work for anyone else but it makes me more determined. The only cravings I had were on the drive down and a couple of pieces of Orbitz took care of that. Cigarettes Not Smoked

To JQ5555 The Nuggett did not have a smoking room for us (my roommate still smokes) but they said go ahead and smoke anyway, so he did. I think they still have smoking rooms but screwed up our reservations. The race track is supposedly smoke free but there were no signs anywhere. I am lucky, the smoke doesn't bother me anymore but I think the businesses in Vegas are just giving lip service to the PC advertising. Casinos are still smoky but not excessively. You can smell it but you can also smell the perfume, body odor, etc. One is no worse than the other. Hey 4my2girls, I used to stay alot on the road, now not so much. But around here the penality for smoking in a non-smoking room is pretty tough, $200.00 fine I think it is. Now that I do stay into non-smoking rooms, I've found them not to smell of smoke. Only thing I do smell is the Towels that are washed with smoking rooms' towels. I can smell the smoke it seems. Sorry we can't chat, your two hours later than I am. And I'm on during the day, you at night. Take care my friend, Ron My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 369 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,935 Amount Saved: $2490.75 Life Gained: Days: 57 Hrs: 22 Mins: 5 Seconds: 4

I got back from Vegas at the end of February. My chest felt as if I smoked a carton. I DO remember that feeling vividly!! My chest hurt, I was coughing, and by the time I went up to bed, I realized that I smelt just like a smoker. It was discusting!! When I got home, I washed everything. Even steam cleaned the suitcases! However, I wanted to say, that when I booked a room before I quit, I obviously booked a smoking room. But when I checked in, they put me in a non-smoking one. I told them I needed smoking. They said just grab an ashtray and bring it up with you. He told me that the difference is ashtray and no ashtray. Nothing else. Sad. Very sad. But I do disagree on the ventilation. It is horrible. Some casinos were worse than others. The only time I smelt anything other than smoke was when I was sitting next to someone. But I will say that Golden Nugget was better than some others next door........ 4my2girls My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 375 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,250 Amount Saved: $1226.25 Life Gained: Days: 30 Hrs: 4 Mins: 13 Seconds: 29
