All of you are gifts from God; Angels. Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for all that you have done for me; your inspirational and informative posts. My desire is to inspire in return; to give back what has been given to me. If my kindness, my straightforwardness, my positivity, or even my difference in opinion inspires or lights a fire under someone's butt then I have accomplished in paying it forward. Hopefully one day there will be no one else to help, no one else addicted to this horrible drug. Wouldn't that be wonderful?! Bless you all! 2 Months ... it seems like so much longer than that! I mean 'longer' in a good way. So many changes have taken place in such a short amount of time. I guess that is why it seems like such a long time. Smoking is something I will never do again, by choice. How empowering is that?! My husband and I still have no-smoking growing pains to go through, but we welcome them. We look forward to this year of personal growth and change. It is not always easy. Sometimes it is confusing, but we both know our lives are changing for the better. It is difficult not understanding why I didn't see nicotine's lies sooner ... ah well ... I will not waste another second concerning myself with that or allowing myself to feel guilty. Instead I am grateful that I finally shook off the denial and peeled the labels (smoker, addict, etc.) off of me. I look forward to a year of experiencing non-smoking memories and letting them take the place of smoking triggers/memories. I look forward to my new life and hope I quit in time for my body to have another chance at life. Feeling blessed is so many ways, regardless of any hardships as they only make me stronger.
