My coping strategies are my people.  You here on this site and my friends.  I am a talker and admitting it and telling on myself are the best things I can do for myself to stay in check.  That's it.

Terry, I hope after reading all the posts below that you have drawn some strength from them.
It was a real wake up call for me to see you asking for help as you were one of my 'rocks' when I first started on my journey and I have to say your avatar photo always cheers me as you look a picture of health, fresh, bright and so good looking-I just cant imagine you with a cigarette between your lips....you look so darn healthy!!
Stay strong hon, this is just a blip, a reminder of our addiction and the fact it can rear its ugly head at any time. We need you here, the new qutters need you here, hang in there (((((((((hugs))))))))

We are all here to support and encourage you all the way!  Good to hear that you reward yourself regularly...what special meal do you have planned for tonight's menu?

Me too Terri,    must be something about that 8 month milestone.. or change of Season....

I found a new flavor of lifesavers.. and I eat lots of almonds.....

actually today was a little better.. less craves.. and not so strong.. maybe I am getting over the hurdle.

Hang in there....   smell your hands.. remember how they used to smell....smell your hair .. and your shirt....

   ahhhhhh

I keep saying ... the dogs are not sneezing...  remember to think of the GOOD reasons ...............

and I really dont want to go thru that first 30 days again......

I will not smoke today,  Bonnie

hey terry
it's great to see you posting here again , you helped me so much when i was new at this.

here's my opinion , you might be tempted now , but just don't smoke ! let's face it , with all the time you have under your belt now , it shouldn't be hard to just say no dice !

and you sure as hell don't want to have to go through that first few weeks of quitting again.

you'll be fine,
mike / astrofan

It's a struggle on a daily basis lately.  I don't believe I'm out of the woods yet.  I am still wanting to smoke and getting thru the urges, but it's been difficult.

Hey Terry.  I hope you are feeling better.  Tomorrow is always another day, take care of yourself, we all spent so much time destroying ourselves, I think sometimes we forget how to do it.

Hang in there..
