How Well do You Think Im Doing Lets see I havent had a smoke in one day, two days, and now three days time. Say hay, one day is a great big deal, two days a bigger deal, three days, wow we are really getting real here arent we. Magic day seven, might I really have made it? Believe it; you have come a long, long way. If one smokes one cigarette per hour, sixteen hours per day, for seven days, why that is one hundred and twelve cigarettes avoided. And a whole lots of craves battled getting there. Keep controlling the urge to smoke by fighting back real hard when a crave hits; dont be soft about it either. Dont just say go way, rather say GO AWAY, LEAVE RIGHT NOW, you are not a part of my life anymore. With each battle you grow stronger, hence Nicodemon weakens. After hell week you probably will be shaky and wore but you should also feel a sense of pride about your accomplishment. After all, a week is a whole lot of effort and I did it, right! Get through a week and stay determined. You will be followed by many, many praises and accolades to help renew your vigor and fortify your motivation. It is just a matter of time before you wont automatically be reaching for that smoke out of habit. How much time you ask? Read between the lines of the people posting here, sense their vigor and determination. Watch for the signs that say, hay I think, I thunk, I have made it. Once there remember to stay aware. Should the beaten down Nicodemon pay you a visit, say softly now, no thank you. When you have arrived here, well then .final congratulation!
