Let's be real. We have all been exactly where you are. We all smoked, we all knew we wanted to quit "after this (cig, pack, carton, etc)". But, we didn't until we made the committment to quit, and never smoke again.
Everyone will have a different reaction to a quit, so be prepared for anything. My friends here will tell you about their coping mechanisms, and how they solved the 'oral' thing. It's all very good advice, and something will click and work for you.
Me? I just ate chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. I am paying for that now with some extra baggage, but I'll lose that eventually.
Read a lot, learn a lot, and post a lot. It's amazing how much it helps. I am one of many who literally lived on this site for the first couple of weeks.
